How to change an item’s category?

To reduce the time you spend walking between the store aisles, Listonic automatically groups items on your lists into appropriate categories. Sometimes, however, you may want to change the category of an item or move the item to your custom category. 

Change an item’s category (Method 1)

  1. Tap a list with items you want to edit
  2. Tap  and make sure the “Show prices”  option is switched off.
  3. Tap the category icon of the item you want to edit
  4. Choose a new category for the item
  5. Tap  to save and go back to your list

Change an item’s category (Method 2)

  1. Tap a list with items you want to edit
  2. Tap  and make sure the “Show prices”  option is switched off.
  3. Press and hold the item you want to edit
  4. Tap “edit”
  5. Tap the category’s icon
  6. Scroll down to find a new category for the item, and tap it
  7. Tap  to save changes and go back to the edit mode
  8. Tap

  2. Tap  and make sure the prices’ visibility is turned off.
  3. Swipe left on the item you want to edit
  4. Tap
  5. Tap the category’s icon
  6. Scroll down to find a new category for the item, and tap it
  7. Tap  to save changes and go back to your list
